Someone to call when it isn’t working
Most small organisations don’t need a full-time IT person. They need someone who knows their setup, answers when something breaks, and helps them decide what to do next. That’s what ongoing support is: practical help from someone who already understands how you work.
Based in Hebden Bridge, working with organisations across the UK.
Fixing what’s broken
Email not sending, a page not loading, someone locked out: sorted, with an explanation so it’s less likely next time.
Small changes
New starters set up, leavers removed, a page updated, a form changed, without waiting for a project.
Keeping it secure
Updates applied, backups checked, access reviewed, and the basics that stop a small problem becoming a big one.
Website upkeep
Plugins, hosting, domain renewals and the occasional tidy-up, so the site stays fast and online.
Advice when deciding
A second opinion before you sign up for a tool, renew a contract or change something that matters.
Help with the people side
Quick guides and short training sessions so your team gets more out of what they have.
No long contracts
Support is arranged around what you actually need, whether that’s an agreed amount of time each month or help when something comes up. There are no tiers to pick between and no twelve-month lock-in. If it isn’t useful, you stop.
How it works
We start with a free initial conversation and, for anything I didn’t set up, a short look at what you have so I’m not learning it during an emergency.
From there, you have a direct way to get in touch, a clear idea of how quickly to expect a response, and a short note each month of what was done and anything worth deciding.
Common questions
The things people usually ask about support.
Do we need to have used you for the setup?
No. Support for a setup someone else built is common. A short review first means I know what I’m dealing with.
How fast do you respond?
Urgent problems that stop people working are looked at the same business day. Everything else has an agreed timeframe so you know where you stand.
Is this remote or in person?
Nearly everything is done remotely, which is faster for you. Local organisations around the Calder Valley can arrange an in-person session when it helps.
Can we stop at any time?
Yes. There’s no notice period beyond finishing anything already in progress.
